Chapelle Saint-Michel

  • It is traditionally said that the chapel has been built where the house of Dom Michel Le Nobletz (a famous missionary who spent more than 25 years in Douarnenez) used to be.
    This chapel, built from 1663 to 1665, a bit unknown, is especially noteworthy for its decoration on the whole wainscot.
    The 58 painted panels represent the life of the Virgin and the Christ. The monument as well as the furniture and the decoration are from the second half of the 17th century.
