The TROBAIRITZ ensemble takes us on a journey around the Mediterranean Sea.
From the boûqâlâh, containing anonymous jewels of the Algerian female oral tradition, to the lyrical poetry of the Italian East or the south of France, via Sephardic songs or the romancero viejo of medieval Spain and the Reconquista, these poems, often recited without music, tell of love, the body, deception, perfidy, resilience... in a word, life.
